  • 1-pound Grass Fed Beef Chuck
  • 3 large tomatoes, seeded and quartered
  • 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 celery stocks cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 2/3 cup of fish sauce
Methods/steps
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large pot with 7 cups of water and heat to a boil.
  • Continue boiling for 5 minutes, then reduce the heat and cover the pot. Simmer for about 30 minutes, or until beef is tender.

  • 3 cups rice
  • Rinse the rice until the water runs clear, this is very important.
  • Put the rice and 2 ½ cups of water in a large pot (unless you have a rice cooker).
  • Cook over high heat, uncovered, until most of the water has been absorbed.
  • Cover and reduce the heat to as low as possible.
  • Steam for about 20 minutes.
  • The rice is done when a grain is soft enough to mash between your thumb and forefinger.
  • After the rice is done cooking you will notice a beautiful smell throughout your house. I’m getting hungry!
